BillScope AU is designed for normal households, not energy experts.
Step 1
Enter your bill details
Choose the bill you want to check and enter the details shown on it — things like your billing period, the amount and your usage. We tell you where to find each figure.
Step 2
We analyse it
Your figures are annualised and compared with benchmark information for your bill type and region. The calculation methodology is versioned, so every result can be traced back to the rules and benchmarks used at the time.
Step 3
See your estimate
You'll get one of three outcomes: a potential saving, a result that looks competitive, or a note explaining what extra information we need. Everything is an estimate based on what you told us.
Step 4
Join BillScope AU
If a potential saving is identified, you can start your BillScope AU Membership. That's the point at which we ask for your contact and address details so we can check what's actually available at your property.
Step 5
Get your recommendation and ongoing reviews
BillScope AU charges a flat $49 annual membership, billed annually. It covers your electricity and internet/NBN comparisons, your personalised recommendations, and ongoing reviews. Annual review as standard, with additional reviews when there is a meaningful reason to reassess. BillScope AU does not complete the provider switch for you. We'd rather be cautious than overstate what's possible.
