Our service

BillScope AU provides bill assessments and reviews for eligible Australian electricity and internet/NBN services. Initial bill checks are free. Membership includes electricity and internet comparisons, personalised recommendations, saved service and assessment history, and annual review as standard, with additional reviews when there is a meaningful reason to reassess.

The available assessment method depends on your location, service, tariff and the information supplied. Some circumstances require manual review or more information. We do not switch your provider for you or guarantee that a suitable alternative will be available.

Estimates only

BillScope AU provides estimates based on the information you supply and benchmark information. Estimates are not offers, quotes or financial advice, and BillScope AU does not guarantee that any saving will be achieved.

Recommendations reflect the information provided by you and data available to BillScope AU at the time. Actual pricing and savings may differ because of usage, changing prices, availability, eligibility or changed circumstances. Plan and speed availability may depend on your address. The provider determines final pricing and eligibility.

Accuracy of information

Results depend entirely on the accuracy of the details you enter. Please check your figures against your bill.

Keep your contact and account information accurate, review your assessment details, and keep secure account links private. Before switching, check provider pricing, eligibility, contract terms, fees and any hardware requirements. You decide whether to switch and contract directly with the provider.

Independence

BillScope AU is not affiliated with any electricity or internet provider. We do not take a share of your savings. The annual membership is the entire BillScope AU fee; there is no separate recommendation fee or percentage-of-savings charge.

Membership price and annual renewal

$49.00 AUD per year, billed annually. Membership automatically renews annually at $49 per year until cancelled.

Your saved payment method is charged automatically for each annual renewal. The $49 price is the full charge — nothing is added at checkout. Your membership becomes active when payment is confirmed; billing and paid-through dates are shown in your account. Membership pays for the assessment, research and review service, whether or not you choose to act on a recommendation.

While the website displays TEST MODE, checkout is for testing only and no real money moves. This does not indicate that live payment acceptance has started.

Cancelling membership

You can cancel future renewals at any time through Customer Log In: open your Customer Dashboard, go to Manage Your Membership, choose Cancel membership and confirm. Cancellation stops renewal; it does not immediately end access. Your membership remains active until the actual end of your current paid subscription period, shown in your account, and then expires. You will not be charged another annual renewal after cancellation is confirmed.

Your account and assessment history are not automatically deleted when you cancel. Where available, you can restore renewal before the paid period ends. If you cannot access your account or need help, contact us.

Refund requests and consumer rights

Cancelling automatic renewal does not itself issue a refund of the current annual payment. If you believe a refund or another remedy is due, contact billscope.enquiries@gmail.com with your request. Requests will be considered in light of the circumstances and applicable consumer rights. These terms do not set an additional discretionary refund entitlement or exclude a refund required by law.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies consumer guarantees or other rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law where those rights cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Responsibility for the service

BillScope AU is responsible for providing its assessment and review service subject to applicable law. Independent provider services are governed by the agreement you make with that provider. Estimate and availability caveats do not remove any rights you have against BillScope AU under applicable law; these terms do not impose a blanket exclusion of liability.

Changes to the service or terms

We may update the service, features or these terms from time to time, subject to applicable law and our obligations to existing members. Any future pricing or material renewal change will be communicated before it applies, with an opportunity to cancel future renewal. The current terms and update date will be published here.
